Client Profile at a Glance

Client A leading global financial services organisation
Industry Banking and Financial Services Technology
Hiring Model End-to-end Hire Train and Deploy
Location Hyderabad, with select roles in Bangalore
Duration 8 Weeks
Experience Required 6–12 months
Scale 18 professionals across two cohorts
The Context

Technology delivery teams need professionals who go beyond foundational knowledge, candidates must work within defined technology environments, demonstrate role-specific capability, and progress through customer assessment and deployment processes. The client engaged us to support a technology hiring requirement spanning AI, Data engineering, Java development, and automation testing roles. The engagement required us to build two specialized talent cohorts within a two-month delivery window, across multiple role profiles and locations, a scale only achievable through a structured Hire Train and Deploy approach.

The Challenge

The requirement combined several technology disciplines within a compressed timeframe. Candidates were expected to have 6–12 months of prior experience, but experience alone would not guarantee readiness for the required roles the engagement needed to combine talent identification, screening, and structured capability development in parallel.

We were required to:

  • Identify candidates aligned with experience and location requirements
  • Take candidates through the full training programme, ensuring consistent, role-ready
    capability regardless of prior experience
  • Organize candidates into role-specific learning pathways
  • Deliver hiring and training within a tightly scoped client budget
  • Prepare cohorts for the next stage of the client's selection or deployment process
  • Develop a deployment-ready talent pool within defined client timelines
Engagement Objectives

The programme was designed around four primary objectives:

  1. Build a qualified, pre-vetted talent pool across the required technology roles
  2. Strengthen each candidate's capabilities through role-aligned training
  3. Prepare two distinct cohorts within the agreed two-month timeframe
  4. Deliver professionals who had completed our sourcing, screening, and training process, ready for on-demand talent deployment
Our Hire Train & Deploy Approach

We developed an end-to-end HTD response connecting talent acquisition with structured technical capability development treating recruitment and training as one continuous journey rather than separate activities, engineered for improved hiring efficiency and faster deployment.

1. Requirement Alignment

The engagement began by mapping the requirement across role categories, candidate experience, location, technical capability, cohort size, and delivery timeline allowing sourcing and learning activities to be structured around the actual workforce need.

2. Talent Sourcing and Screening

We identified candidates with 6–12 months of relevant experience and screened them for alignment with the required technology roles. Those evaluated by SMEs were shortlisted and progressed into the programme.

3. Role-Based Cohort Design

Selected candidates were organised into two cohorts based on the capability requirement.

AI Technology Cohort (12 Positions)

Role Hyderabad Bangalore Total
Java Developer 3 0 3
Java Automation Testers 3 0 3
AI Engineer 2 0 2
Data Engineer 2 2 4
Java full stack developer 6 0 6
Total 16 2 18

All selected candidates in this batch underwent training on AI concepts and emerging technologies alongside their role-specific curriculum, enabling them to support the client's AI-driven initiatives.

Batch 2 – Java Full Stack Developer Cohort (6 Positions)

The second batch focused on hiring and training 6 Java Full Stack Developers. The learning pathway covered:

  • Core Java
  • Spring Boot
  • Microservices
  • REST APIs
  • SQL
  • Git

The programme was designed to strengthen candidates' ability to work across core backend development workflows and modern Java application environments.

4. Capability Development

Training work continued with structured, technology-driven assessment to validate readiness at every stage:

  • Assessment via Edzentra LMS: Candidate progress and technical competency were evaluated through Edzentra Assess ensuring consistency, measurable benchmarks across both cohorts.
  • SME evaluation: Subject matter experts reviewed candidate output against role-specific technical standards.
  • Deployment-first evaluation: This two-layer model prioritized deployment readiness over time-based training completion.

5. Readiness Validation

Candidates completed the sourcing, screening, and training stages defined within our engagement scope, closing the loop between technical training and deployment readiness.

Scope Delivered

Requirement mapping Roles, location, experience profile, cohort size, and delivery period
Candidate sourcing Early-career professionals with 6–12 months of experience
Candidate screening Initial alignment with the required technology roles
Cohort formation One AI-focused cohort and one Java full stack cohort
Technical training AI concepts, emerging technologies, and Java full stack capabilities
Assessment Edzentra Assess evaluation + SME review
Candidate preparation Preparation for the next stage of customer evaluation or deployment
Delivery period 60 Days

Evidence and Outcomes

Within the two-month engagement period, we accomplished the following:

  • Successfully built two specialized technology cohorts from a standing start
  • Sourced, screened, and trained 18 professionals to deployment-ready standard
  • Delivered coverage across five defined role categories
  • Executed dual-location delivery across Hyderabad and Bangalore without compromising
    cohort quality
  • Delivered role-aligned learning spanning AI, data, testing, and Java full stack development
  • Validated every candidate through a combined Edzentra Assess and SME evaluation process, achieving improved hiring efficiency and faster deployment across both cohorts

<H3> Why Choose Our Hire Train and Deploy Model

  • Integrated Hire Train and Deploy Delivery
Our full-cycle sourcing, screening, cohort formation, and technical training were managed as connected stages rather than isolated activities.
  • Multi-Role Capability Development
The programme addressed multiple technology requirements spanning Java development, automation testing, artificial intelligence, and data engineering.
  • Role-Aligned Learning
The two cohorts followed different learning directions based on the capabilities required for their respective roles.
  • Technology-Backed Assessment
Edzentra Assess-driven evaluation, combined with SME review, ensured every candidate met a consistent, measurable readiness standard before advancing.
  • Time-Bound Execution
Both cohorts were prepared within the agreed two-month engagement period, demonstrating the speed advantage of a true Hire & Train delivery model.

The Conclusion:

Talent readiness isn't found, it's built. This project proved that by identifying talent early, training it to fit the project, and delivering it on tp a tight deadline. Our Train & Hire model brings together talent acquisition and capability development, giving organisations a reliable way to build workforce pipelines around specific technologies, roles and delivery timelines
